God Sees You Right Where You Are
Thank you for a new day, new grace, & new mercies! The last 5 days have been really strenuous. My family has been sick, and night-time was the worst. Several nights the max sleep anyone got was approximately 3 hours. My duties as wife and mother (nurse) consist of me staying up most of the night. Several times throughout the night, I would get up and make tea and refilled the diffuser with eucalyptus oil. When I wasn’t doing that, I was staying up to accompany the sleepless.
At the beginning of September, I made a shortlist of assignments that I gave to God and asked that he would help me finish by September 30th. My momentum was at an all-time high.
Things changed; my whole family got sick. I didn’t add in the equation sickness or exhaustion. Quietly I said to myself, “God this was not apart of the plan.” This was not on my calendar. I knew how much work I needed to do daily to achieve my end goal. Can you relate to having a to-do list of goals or work on a God-given assignment and a curveball is thrown in the midst?
I felt discouraged that I fell behind.
Immediately God spoke to me and said, “Do you not trust ME?
Do you not believe I can redeem the lost time?
HE comforted me and assured me it’s ok. After praying, HE affirmed me that HE sees me right where I am. Even in my weakness, HE is my strength. ( 2 Corinthians 12:9) At that moment, I reflected on this time last year. The Holy Spirit brought back to my remembrance the things I prayed for then and how many prayers have come into fruition. Immediately the heaviness lifted; I felt HIS peace and HIS love.
Lord, I Thank You!
Many times we make plans, without factoring that things may not go as we planned. Remember that God is in control. (Psalm 46:10) The bumps and turns didn’t catch him by surprise. He will finish what he started in you. ✨
Today I want to encourage you with Galatians 6:9
It says, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
In due time, you will see the fruits of your labor if you keep going. No matter what unplanned circumstances come your way, Do not give up & continue to trust God for the results. (Proverbs 16:3)
Prayer: Dear God, I entrust my plans to you, Father. Forgive me for wavering when the Process doesn’t look like what you promised. Teach me to trust and depend on you, Father in all things entirely. Not my will, but your way and your will. Thank you in advance. In Jesus name, Amen.
